Board of Education Meeting

The Board of Education meets once a month for a public session, and during most months, for one work session.  The community is invited to attend both sessions.  The dates are listed in the school calendar, and on our website.

Board facts:

  • Election of Board members is a term of three years
  • A Board member must be a resident of the New Hyde Park-Garden City Park community
  • Board members receive no salary for their work.  We thank them for volunteering to serve as Board members.
